CAPM provides asset management services to both its clients and shareholders. These services include discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management, and other investment funds. Members of the CAPM management were previously involved in establishing and growing the Asset Management divisions for three of the most renowned investment companies in both the UAE and Kuwait. A summary of their accomplishments includes the following:
- Establishing two of the first equity investment funds in the UAE,
- Establishing a specialized trading desk,
- Managing a local stock market portfolio of AED 200 million (1995 – 2000),
- Directing a non-discretionary portfolio of AED 200 million (2004-2007), and
- Increasing the value of the largest UAE government investment fund from an initial investment of AED 160 million to AED 600 million (2005).
